Monday, August 16, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

Tropical Storm Fred  will bring us showers and thunderstorms tomorrow through at least Thursday…

To start the day, a brief history lesson. Our country in the early 1980's called Bin Laden and his militants in Afghanistan Freedom Fighters and supplied them with weapons and money to fight the Soviet forces that we called the Evil Empire, who were in Afghanistan fighting Bin Laden and his militants for many of the same reasons we spent the last 20 years and trillions of dollars there. Just keep that in mind as you watch this garbage on the news. Also, if you want to know why we don't have money for national health care and public education, so we straddle our own citizens with massive college and healthcare debt, it is because we spend trillions on wars like Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, rather than on our own people, including funding Bin Laden and his, "Afghan Freedom Fighters."  Will we ever learn?

Tropical Storm Fred is currently in the Northeastern Gulf of Mexico, and moving northward. Fred will make landfall on the Panhandle of Florida this evening and then will slowly move northward through the Eastern United States tomorrow through Friday. This will bring our area a chance of showers tonight through Friday, with heavy rainfall totals possible in much of our area.
