Remnants of Ida to pass through our area Wednesday into Thursday, bringing very heavy rain and strong wind, which is likely to cause problems…


The remnants of Ida will be passing through our area Wednesday into Thursday, bringing our area heavy rain and strong wind that will likely lead to flooding and very possibly some power outages from the strong wind gusts combined with the heavy rain, uprooting trees once again. Tonight, will be mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm and then tomorrow, clouds will increase with rain or showers and thunderstorms developing at night as the remnants of Ida approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.


Wednesday there will be rain, or showers and thunderstorms, possibly becoming heavy at times, especially at night, with a chance of flash flooding. It will become windy as the remnants of Ida continue to approach our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.


Thursday there will be rain, or showers and thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times in the morning, with a continued chance for flooding as total rainfall amounts could be as high as 10 inches in parts of our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.


Friday through Sunday will then be nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Friday, rising to the low to mid 70’s Saturday, and the 70’s Sunday.


Labor Day will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.


Next Tuesday, September 7th will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 70’s.


Next Wednesday, September 8th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.


Next Thursday, September 9th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the 70’s.


Next Friday, September 10th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.


Next Saturday, September 11th and next Sunday, September 12th, will then be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 70’s next Saturday and the 70’s next Sunday.
