Light rain and drizzle ending this morning in some eastern sections and then at least a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm until the end of time, well at least through the next 10 days or so…
The disturbance that has been plaguing coastal sections, NYC, and Long Island for a couple of days will finally start to leave our area slowly today but will continue to bring some light rain and drizzle to some areas around NYC and on Long Island into early this afternoon and there will be just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm elsewhere today. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s from east to west.
Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to low 90’s inland, and the low 80’s on Long Island.
Wednesday through Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Wednesday and Thursday and the upper 80’s to mid 90’s, except the mid 80’s on Long island Friday.
Saturday will then be mostly cloudy with a chance of shower or thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorm in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Monday, August 16th will be variably cloudy with a just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Tuesday, August 17th, through next Thursday, August 19th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front slowly approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Friday, August 20th, will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Saturday, August, 21st, will then be variably cloudy with highs low to mid 80’s.
