Hurricane Ida likely to do serious damage to coastal Louisiana and will reach our area Wednesday…
Hurricane Ida is approaching the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and will make landfall tomorrow afternoon and evening. Ida will then turn northeastward, reaching Central Tennessee Tuesday afternoon and evening, and then reaching our area Wednesday, possibly bringing heavy rain and wind. There will be a chance of light rain or drizzle through tomorrow as a weak disturbance passes south of our area. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Monday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a weak cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Tuesday will then be nice behind the cold front with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80[‘s.
Wednesday there will be rain or showers and thunderstorms, possibly heavy at times as Ida or her remnants pass through our area. It will also be windy with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s,
Thursday there will be a chance of rain or showers and thunderstorms ending in the morning, then gradual clearing as Ida or her remnants depart our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.
Friday and next Saturday, September 4th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 70’s.
Next Sunday, September 5th and next Monday, September 6th, will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Next Tuesday, September 7th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 70’s.
Next Wednesday, September 8th will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as another cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Next Thursday, September 9th and next Friday, September 10th, are then looking variably cloudy with highs in the 70’s.
