Sunday, August 22, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

Severe to Catastrophic flooding likely in parts of our area tonight and tomorrow…

The rain will continue through much of the day tomorrow, heavy at times, as Tropical Storm Henri stalls over our area. The rain will finally end late in the day tomorrow with the possibility of up to 13 inches of rain in some places, which will likely lead to severe to catastrophic flooding in parts of our area. It will also become windy tomorrow as Henri starts to depart our area, with gusts up to 35 mph, which could uproot trees with the soft ground from the very heavy rainfall, leading to the potential for power outages. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
