A heat wave is on the way tomorrow through Friday for a large part of our area…

The big news the next two weeks will be the heat wave in much of our area tomorrow through Friday with many inland locations breaking 90 degrees. There will be a chance of some showers today, a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow, Thursday will then be hot and dry, followed by a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm Friday.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of shower or thunderstorms as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s to low 90’s.

Sunday is then looking nice and cooler with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Monday through next Friday, August 20th, there will be at least a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each day with highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s Monday and next Tuesday, the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Wednesday, the upper 70’s to low 80’s next Thursday and Friday, and the low to mid 70’s next Saturday through Monday.
