Tuesday, August 3, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

A Tropical Storm may develop off the coast tomorrow…

This evening will be mostly cloudy with a chance of a shower along the coast or on Long Island as a disturbance passes by off the coast.

Tomorrow another disturbance may develop off the Delmarva Peninsula. This disturbance will then move northeastward, strengthening as it does so. It is possible that this storm could reach Tropical Storm strength off the coast of NJ tomorrow evening ,bringing rain, possibly heavy at times to the NJ Coast and Long Island, with some rain also possible in NYC and in Fairfield County, CT. It may also become windy along the coast and on Long Island as the storm strengthens tomorrow evening. Highs will be in the 70’s.

Thursday through next Tuesday, August 10th, will then be nice with just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to md 80’s Thursday, the 80’s to low 90’s Friday, the upper 70’s and 80’s Saturday, the 80’s Sunday, the 80’s to low 90’s Monday, and the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, August 11th, through next Monday, August 16th, are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s next Wednesday, the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Thursday through Saturday, and the 80’s next Sunday and Monday.

Have a wonderful evening!
