A stationary front has developed off the coast and will remain there into early next week…
Rain will be developing along the coast, in NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, becoming heavy at times on Eastern Long Island, also it will become windy on Eastern Long Island, with gusts up to 50 mph possible as a disturbance passe by to our east. Highs will be in the 70’s.
Tomorrow will be cloudy with a chance of rain on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT as another disturbance passes by to our east. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.
Friday will then be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80’s to low 90’s, except the low 80’s on Long Island.
Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers developing at night as another disturbance passes to our east. Highs will be in the in the 80’s, except some upper 70’s on Long Island.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers during the day, then clearing in the evening. Highs will be in the 80’s.
Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 80’s, with some low 90’s in West Central NJ.
Tuesday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s, except the low 80’s on Long Island.
Next Wednesday, August 11th, through next Tuesday, August 17th are then looking variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will gradually fall from the mid 80’s to low 90’s next Wednesday through Friday, to the 80’s next Saturday and Sunday, and the low to mid 80’s next Monday and Tuesday.
