Chance of some severe showers or thunderstorms later today and tonight and again on Wednesday…
Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm this afternoon in Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, and a better chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night in far Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, as a stationary front develops near our area. Some of the storms could be severe. Highs from the mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in Central NJ.
Tomorrow will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm in Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY State as the stationary front starts to turn into a warm front and pushes north of our area. Highs will range from the mid 70’s in Fairfield County, CT and on Eastern Long Island, to the mid 80’s in inland Central NJ.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm during the day in Northeastern PA and at night in Northeastern PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and in NYC, as a cold front approaches from the west. Some of the storms could be severe. Highs will range from the upper 70’s on Long Island to the upper 80’s in inland Central NJ.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorms as the cold front stalls over our area before finally moving through at night. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Friday will then be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Sunday through next Wednesday, September 22nd, are then looking nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday and next Monday, and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Next Thursday, September 23rd, will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.
Next Friday, September 24th, through next Sunday, September 26th, are currently looking nice with highs in the 70’s next Friday and Saturday and the low to mid 70’s next Sunday.
