Thursday, September 23, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Showers and thunderstorms, possibly severe, likely later today could bring some flooding…


There will be showers and thunderstorms later today, possibly severe, and the rain could be heavy at times, which could cause flooding in some locations, as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the low 80’s in inland Central NJ.


Tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms will end early in the morning in Eastern PA, later in the morning in NJ and Southeastern NY State, and in the afternoon in NYC, on Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT, as the cold front passes through our area.  Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers on Eastern Long Island as a disturbance may pass east of our area off the coast. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.


Sunday and Monday will be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Sunday and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.


Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Next Thursday, September 30th, through next Wednesday, October 6th, are currently looking nice with highs in the mid to upper 60’s next Thursday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Friday through Monday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
