Tuesday, September 7, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Showers and thunderstorms likely tomorrow afternoon and night, gradually clearing Thursday, and then a very nice weekend…


The rest of today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Tomorrow clouds will increase with showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and evening from west to east as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in inland Central NJ.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with showers and thunderstorms ending early in the morning from west to east, except in the afternoon along the NJ Coast, and in the evening on Long Island as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.


Friday through Sunday will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Friday, to the low to mid 70’s Saturday, and from the mid 70’s in Northeastern PA to the mid 80’s in inland Central NJ Sunday.


Monday through next Thursday, September 16th will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Monday, from the mid 70’s in Northeastern PA and Fairfield County, CT, to the mid 80’s in inland Central NJ next Tuesday, the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Wednesday, and from the low 70’s in Northeastern PA to the low 80’s in inland Central NJ next Thursday.


Next Friday, September 17th through next Monday, September 20th, are currently looking nice with highs in the 70’s next Friday and Saturday and the low to mid 70’s next Sunday and Monday.
