Nice through Saturday, and cool today through Friday, then warming with a chance for showers or thunderstorms…
Today through Saturday will be nice, with just a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will be in the 60’s today, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s tomorrow, the 60’s Friday, and the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Saturday.
Sunday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm, especially in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT, as a cold front and disturbance approach from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s, with some low 80’s possible in inland Central NJ.
Monday through next Sunday, October 10th, could then be unsettled as the cold front may stall near or just off the coast, with disturbances potentially developing along the front. This would bring us a chance of showers or thunderstorms each day. Highs will gradually drop from the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Monday, to the mid 60’s to low 70’s Tuesday through next Thursday, the mid to upper 60’s next Friday and Saturday, and the 60’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, October 11th and next Tuesday, October 12th, are then looking variably cloudy, but dry, with highs in the mid to upper 60’s.
