Remnants of Ida passing through our area tonight, bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and possibly some tornadoes, likely leading to some power outages and flooding…


The remnants of Ida are passing through our area tonight and will bring heavy rain, strong wind, and possibly even some tornadoes, likely leading to flooding and some power outages in parts of our area. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph and there could be as much as 9 inches of rain in parts of our area. 


The rain will then end early in the morning, followed by clearing. There will likely be some power outages and flooding in parts of our area in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph early in the morning, then subsiding. Highs tomorrow will be in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s.

Friday will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a sprinkle or shower in the afternoon or evening. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.


Saturday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 70’s.


Sunday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Labor Day will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Wednesday, September 8th, will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers or thunderstorm as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s.


Next Thursday, September 9th, through next Tuesday, September 14th are currently looking nice with highs in the 70’s next Thursday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Friday and Saturday, and the 70’s next Sunday through Tuesday.
