A cold front is approaching, bringing the threat of more flooding and severe thunderstorms…
Today will be mostly cloudy with sprinkles or showers or thunderstorms possible as a cold front slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mdi 70’s to low 80’s.
Tomorrow will be cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms will be developing in the afternoon and at night from west to east, possibly heavy at times, and some of the thunderstorms could be severe. There could be some flooding as the cold front very slowly approaches from the west. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Friday, showers, and thunderstorms will be likely in the morning, ending from the late morning in Eastern PA, to the evening along the coast, in NYC, and on Long Island as the cold front finally passes through our area. There could be flooding in some locations. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers on Long Island and in Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance may develop off the coast and brush eastern sections. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
Sunday and Monday will then be nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s Sunday and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s Monday.
Tuesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
Next Wednesday, September 29th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning, followed by clearing as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Thursday, September 30th, through next Tuesday, October 5th, are currently looking nice with highs in the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Thursday through Sunday, and in the mid to upper 60’s next Monday and Tuesday.
