Monday, October 18, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or sprinkle, especially in Southeastern NY State and Fairfi9eld County CT today, then nice with warming temperatures tomorrow and Wednesday, and then just in time for the weekend….


Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or sprinkle, especially in Southeastern NY State and in Fairfield County, CT, as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will range from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in Central NJ.


Tomorrow and Wednesday will then be variably cloudy with temperatures warming from the low to mid 60’s tomorrow to the upper 60’s to mid 70’s Wednesday.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.


Friday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 60’s.


Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, especially along the coast and on Long Island, clearing at night as a disturbance may develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.


Sunday through next Tuesday, October 26th, will then be nice with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s Sunday, the upper 40’s and 50’s next Monday, and the 50’s next Tuesday.


Next Wednesday, October 27th, clouds will increase with a chance of afternoon and evening showers as a disturbance may develop near the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Thursday, October 28th through next Saturday, October 30th, are then looking nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Thursday, the mid 50’s to mid 60’s next Friday, and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday.
