Monday, October 25, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Strong Nor’easter to develop off the NJ Coast tomorrow will bring very heavy flooding rain and strong wind. THE FLOODING COULD BE SEVERE IN PARTS OF OUR AREA!!!


Today will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle during the day, then developing at night, becoming heavy at times, and possibly a thunderstorm as a strong disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.


Tomorrow, there will be rain, heavy at times, with flooding likely, as the approaching disturbance develops into a strong Nor’easter off the NJ Coast. It will also be windy, with gusts up to 50’s mph possible, except up to 65 mph on Eastern Long Island. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mdi 60’s.


Wednesday, the rain will end in the morning as the Nor’easter starts to pull east off the coast. It will be windy along the coast and on Long Island with gusts up to 40 mph possible along the NJ Coast and on Western Long Island, and up to 50 mph possible on Eastern Long Island. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.


Total rainfall amounts of up to 9 inches are possible in parts of our area...

 Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mdi to upper 50’s.


Friday, rain will be likely as another disturbance approaches from the west, possibly developing into another Nor’easter. Highs will range from the upper 40’s in Northeastern PA to the low 60’s in East Central NJ.


Saturday, rain will be likely as the Nor’easter may be situated off the NJ Coast. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s.


Sunday and next Monday, November 1st, will then be nice with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Tuesday, November 2nd, will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower as a cold front may pass through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Wednesday, November 3rd, through next Saturday, November 6th, are currently looking nice with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Wednesday through Friday and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Saturday.
