The high temperature reached 80 degrees today at my location in Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, which is just amazing for October 3rd.
Tonight, there will be a chance of showers or thunderstorm in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT as a disturbance passes to our north.
Tomorrow there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the morning, then showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening, and the rain could be heavy at times as a cold front approaches. Highs will range from the upper 60’s in far Northeastern PA, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY, and in Fairfield County, CT, to the mid to upper 70’s in Central NJ.
Tuesday the showers and possibly a thunderstorm will end early in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Thursday and Friday will then be nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s.
Saturday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers developing in the afternoon and at night as a disturbance may develop in the Southeastern United States and then move northeastward through our area. Highs will be in the 60’s.
Next Sunday, October 10th, will be cloudy with a chance of showers, ending at night, as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 60’s to low 70’s.
Next Monday, October 11th, through next Saturday, October 16th, are currently looking nice with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday, the low to mid 70’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, the upper 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday, and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Friday and Saturday.
