Friday, December 17, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion

Warm again today, but not as warm as yesterday, rain likely tomorrow and a bit of freezing rain possible in Northeastern PA, and then colder with a chance of some rain or snow showers Christmas Day…

Today will be variably cloudy and it will continue to be unseasonably warm, although not as warm as yesterday, with highs today in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.

Tomorrow, rain will be likely, with some freezing rain possible in parts of Northeastern PA, as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 50’s along the NJ Coast.

Sunday, the rain will end early in the morning, followed by clearing, as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.

Monday through Christmas Eve will then be nice, but it will start out cold with highs in the mid 30’s Monday, the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Tuesday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Wednesday, the 30’s Thursday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day there will be a chance of rain or snow showers, especially in the morning, as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.

Next Sunday, December 26th, through next Thursday, December 30th, are currently looking nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday, the 30’s next Monday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Tuesday and Wednesday, and the 30’s next Thursday.

Have a fantastic day!
