Frist chance for a significant snowfall in parts of our area…
Today through Sunday will be nice, but it will start out cold today, with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s, rising to the mid to upper 40’s tomorrow and the then dropping back a bit to the upper 30’s to mid 40’s Sunday.
Monday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers as a cold front approaches from the west. Warm air will stream into our area ahead of the cold front, with highs ranging from the low 50’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 60’s in Central NJ.
Tuesday, clouds will increase late in the day as a disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Wednesday there will be a chance of snow developing early in the morning in Northeastern PA, far Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY, rain or snow in East Central PA, the rest of Northern NJ and Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and rain developing in Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, ending in the late afternoon and early evening from west to east. Significant snowfall accumulations will be possible in Northeastern PA and Orange County, NY. Lows will range from the mid 20’s to mid 30’s, with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s
Thursday will be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Friday, December 10th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Saturday, December 11th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers in the afternoon and at night as a disturbance approaches from the Southeastern United State. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Next Sunday, December 12th, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.
Next Monday, December 13th, through next Thursday, December 16th, are currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday and Tuesday, to the low to mid 40’s next Wednesday, and the 40’s next Thursday.
