Thursday, December 16, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Warm today and then A rainy Saturday ahead, with a bit of snow/sleet/freezing rain possible in Northeastern PA, but then things are looking good through at least  Christmas Eve and Christmas Day…


Today will be variably cloudy and warm with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle, especially at night. It will be warm with highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Saturday, rain will be likely, with a little snow/sleet/freezing rain possible in Northeastern PA, as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will range from the mid 30’s in Northeastern PA, Orange and Putnam Counties in NY State, and in Northern Fairfield County, CT, to the low 50’s along the Nj Coast.


Sunday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning behind the cold front. Highs will range from the low 30’s in Northeastern PA to the low 40’s in Central NJ.


Monday through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and into the following Wednesday are currently looking nice with highs in the low to mid 30’s Monday, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Tuesday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s Wednesday, the 30’s next Thursday, the low to mid 30’s Christmas Eve, the 30’s Christmas Day, the low to mid 30’s next Sunday, the upper 20’s to mid 30’s next Monday, the 30’s next Tuesday, and the 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.
