Some snow tonight into tomorrow morning throughout our area…
Today will be variably cloudy with light snow developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s.
Tomorrow the light snow will end in the morning and then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of showers at night as one disturbance departs our area and then another disturbance approaches our area from the west. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
A trace to a half inch: Southeastern PA, Central and Northeastern NJ, NYC, Rockland, Westchester, and Putnam Counties in NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT
Half inch to an inch and a half possible: East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and Orange County, NY
Christmas Day, rain will be likely as another disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s.
Monday into Wednesday morning there will be a chance of rain as a stationary front may develop near our area, with several disturbances riding along the front. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Monday, rising to the mid 40’s to low 50’s Tuesday, and the mid 40’s to mdi 50’s Wednesday.
Next Thursday, December 30th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Friday, December 31st (New Year’s Eve), into the morning of next Monday, January 3rd, there will be a chance of rain or snow with highs in the mid 30’s to mdi 40’s New Year’s Eve through next Sunday, dropping to the 30’s next Monday.
Next Tuesday, January 4th, and next Wednesday, January 5th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 30’s next Tuesday and the 30’s to low 40’s next Wednesday.
