Tuesday, December 14, 2021 - Daily Weather Discussion


Warm and a bit of rain from time to time, especially Saturday, and then cold with a chance of a Nor’easter developing Monday night into Tuesday…


Well, our first chance of a Nor’easter that could produce accumulating snow in much of our area is in the forecast for Monday night into Tuesday. Right now, it is just a chance, so we will have to see how things go with time…


Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a chance of sprinkles or a shower at night. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or sprinkle at night. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s.


Friday will be variably cloudy with rain developing late at night as a cold front approaches from the wes.t Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.


Saturday will be cloudy with a chance of rain as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s, but with some low to mid 50’s along the Central NJ Coast.


Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.


Monday, clouds will increase in the afternoon and evening with a chance of rain or snow developing at night as  two disturbances approach our area, one heading east through the Great Lakes area, and one approaching from the Southeastern United States. Highs will be in the 30’s, with some low to mid 40’s along the NJ Coast.


Next Tuesday, December 21st, there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the afternoon or evening as the two approaching disturbances may combine near the Middle Atlantic Coast, developing into a Nor’easter. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.


Next Wednesday through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and into next Monday, December 27th, are currently looking nice with highs in the 30’s, but with some low 40’s along the NJ Coast next Wednesday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Thursday, the 30’s, but with some low 40’s along the NJ Coast Christmas Eve, the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Christmas Day, and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday and Monday.
