A bit of snow in our area tomorrow and then a rainy weekend ahead…
Today will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
Tomorrow there will be a chance of light snow in Northeastern PA and a flurry or snow showers elsewhere as a weak disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 30’s to low 40’s.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Trace to a Coating: West Central and Northeastern N, Southeastern Rockland and Westchester Counties in NY State, and in Southern Fairfield County, CT
Coating to an inch possible: East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Orange, Northwestern Rockland and Putnam Counties in NY State, and Northern Fairfield County, CT
Around an inch likely: Northeastern PA
Thursday and Friday will then be nice, but with increasing cloudiness late in the day on Friday. Highs will rise from the mid to upper 30’s Thursday to the 40’s to low 50’s Friday.
Saturday there will be a chance of rain in the morning as a disturbance approaches from the west. It will be warm with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
Sunday there will be a chance of rain ending in the morning, followed by clearing, with highs in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Monday through next Sunday, December 19th, are currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the mid to upper 40’s Monday, to the mid 40’s to low 50’s Tuesday and next Wednesday, and the low to mid 50’s next Thursday, then gradually dropping to the upper 40’s to mid 50’s next Friday, the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Saturday, and the 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday, December 20th, there will then be a chance of a shower as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s.
