Warm today and tomorrow, and then colder, with some snow looking likely Sunday…
It will be warm today and tomorrow, with some places in East Central NJ possibly reaching 60 degrees tomorrow as warm air surges northward into our area ahead of an approaching strong cold front.
Sunday, a disturbance, and the cold front will pass through our area, likely bringing some snow. The second disturbance along the Gulf Coast will likely pass out to sea, not merging with the disturbance that will pass through our area. This will leave us with lighter snowfall amounts and my current snowfall estimates are posted below…
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Coating possible: Northeastern PA, Northwestern Orange County, NY
Coating to an inch possible: East Central PA, Northwestern NJ, Southeastern Orange and Rockland Counties NY State
Around an inch possible: Northeastern NJ, Westchester and Putnam Counties in NY State, NYC, and Fairfield County, CT
One to Two inches possible: Central NJ, Western Long Island
Around two inches possible: Southern NJ, Eastern Long Island

After this disturbance and cold front pass through our area, it will be very cold Monday but then temperatures will quickly rise, reaching 60 in parts of our area Thursday as warm air again surges into our area ahead of an approaching cold front, bringing rain Thursday night into next Friday.
Have a fantastic day!
