I had to increase snowfall estimates for tomorrow. Model snowfall maps posted…
It appears that the disturbance tomorrow will end up being a bit of a bigger deal than it looked yesterday, which is pretty amazing considering that the highs today will reach the mid 50’s in parts of our area. A strong cold front will then pass through tonight and a disturbance will develop behind this front, bringing snow to our area starting early in the morning and ending from late morning in Northeastern PA to the late afternoon and early evening along the NJ Coast and on Long Island.
Total possible snowfall accumulation:
Coating to an inch: Northeastern PA
1-3 inches: East Central PA, Northern NJ, Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and Fairfield County, CT
2-5 inches: Southeastern PA, Southern and Central NJ

It will be quite cold Monday, then temperatures will gradually rise to the low 60’s in parts of our area by Thursday.
Rain will then develop in our area Thursday afternoon or evening as a cold front approaches our area, ending Friday morning as the front passes through.
