Highs reaching the low 60s in parts of our area today and then wind and rain tonight into tomorrow morning…
Warm air is surging northward into our area currently and this will cause highs to reach the low 60’s in parts of our area this afternoon. The cold front will then approach our area tonight, causing rain and wind to develop. The wind could gust as high as 50 mph, except up to 65 mph on Long Island late at night.
Tomorrow, the rain will end in the morning and the wind will finally subside, although winds could still gust to 50 mph in the morning and up to 65 mph on Long Island. Temperatures will also fall through the day.
Saturday will then be colder with a chance of a snow shower or flurry. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Sunday and Monday will then be nice, but it will be cold Sunday with highs in the low to mid 30’s, rising to the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Monday.
Tuesday, a cold front will approach our area, bringing rain, although temperatures will be warm with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
Wednesday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower in the morning as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Thursday, February 24th, into next Saturday morning, February 26th, there will be a chance of rain or snow with highs in the mid 30’s next Thursday, rising to the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Friday, and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday.
Next Sunday, February 27th, through next Tuesday, March 1st, is currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the 30’s next Sunday, to the low to mid 30’s next Monday, and the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Tuesday.
Next Wednesday, March 2nd, there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may pass through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to low 40’s.
