Sunday, March 6, 2022 - Daily Weather Discussion

 

Some showers today and tomorrow, then showers and thunderstorms likely tomorrow late afternoon and evening, and then a bit of rain and maybe even a bit of snow in parts of our area Wednesday…


There will be a chance of showers today, mainly early in the day, with highs in the 60’s.


Tomorrow there will be a chance of showers during the day in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and in Fairfield County, CT, and then there will be showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the low 60’s on Long Island and in Northeastern PA and along the Fairfield County, CT Coast, to the mid 70’s in inland Central NJ.


Tuesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 30’s and 40’s.


Wednesday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance passes to our south. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.


Thursday will be variably cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 40’s.


Friday, clouds will increase with rain developing at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Saturday, the rain will end in the morning, followed by clearing as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the 50’s.


Next Sunday, March 13th, through next Friday, March 18th, are then looking nice with highs gradually rising from the low to mid 30’s next Sunday, to the mid to upper 40’s next Monday, the mid 40’s to mid 50’s next Tuesday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday, the low to mid 50’s next Thursday, and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Friday.


Next Saturday, March 19th, there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
