Friday, April 15, 2022 - Daily Weather Discussion

 

Snow flurries possible in parts of our area for Easter, then a strong Nor’easter will bring heavy rain and possibly even snow to parts of our area Monday night into early Tuesday…


Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a  chance of shower in the afternoon and evening as a cold front drops down through our area from Canada. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and 60’s.


Easter will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower, sprinkle, or flurry as some Lake Effect Moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Monday, two disturbances will approach our area from the west, developing into a strong Nor’easter along the Middle Atlantic Coast at night. This will cause rain to develop at night, becoming heavy at times. There is also the potential for some snow in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s.


Tuesday, the rain, and possibly some snow will endiin northeastern PA in the morning, then it will be variably cloudy with a  chance of a rain or snow shower, sprinkle, or flurry. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Wednesday through next Tuesday, April 26th, are currently looking nice with highs rising from the 50’s Wednesday, to the mid 50’s to low 60’s Thursday, and the 60’s next Friday, then dropping a bit to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s next Saturday, then rising again to the 60’s to low 70’s next Sunday and the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Monday and the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Tuesday.


Next Wednesday, April 29th, and next Thursday April 30th, there will be a chance of showers with highs in the upper 50’s to mid 60’s.
