Tuesday, April 19, 2022 - Daily Weather Discussion


4 inches of snow in Mt. Pocono and 12 inches in Montrose PA. Just incredible, and they may get more snow next Wednesday…


The Nor’easter that developed last night and brought 4 inches of snow to Mt. Pocono in Monroe County and 12 inches to Montrose in Northeastern PA, will move out of our area this morning and then it will be variably cloudy with a chance of a rain or snow shower. It will also be windy today with gusts up to 40 mph possible. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Tomorrow through Sunday are then looking pretty good, but with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle Thursday night and Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s tomorrow, rising to the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Thursday, and the 60’s to low 70’s Friday, then dropping back to the mid 50’s to low 60’s Saturday and the mid 50’s to mid 60’s Sunday.


Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the upper 50’s and 60’s.


Next Tuesday, April 26th into the morning of next Thursday, April 28th, there will be a chance of rain and possibly even some snow next Wednesday in Northeastern PA. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.


Next Friday, April 29th and next Saturday, April 30th, will be variably cloudy with highs in the 50’s next Friday and the mid 50’s to low 60’s next Saturday.


Next Sunday, May 1st, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower at night as a disturbance approaches from the west. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.


Next Monday, May 2nd, there will be a chance of showers as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s.
