Nice through Tuesday, but HOT Tuesday. Is anyone ever going to do anything about the gun violence in this country? I would say it is much more likely this country will turn into a dictatorship…
It will be nice through Tuesday, with temperatures gradually warming from the 70’s today, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s tomorrow and the mid 80’s to mid 90’s Tuesday.
The chance for showers or thunderstorms will return in the afternoon and evening Wednesday, continuing through Friday, but next weekend is looking nice.
As far as this country goes, it is a scary disaster. Our kids can’t even feel safe going to school and it seems most of the public doesn’t care and continues to support legislation that has made us as the most dangerous wealthy country to live in, by far. No other wealthy country suffers the gun violence problem we do. The majority of our public seems to think it is ok for 18-year-old angry boys with not yet fully developed brains to buy machine guns with no background check, no mental health evaluation, no license requirements whatsoever.
And when the children in this school called to ask the police for help, they didn’t help, in fact their actions and inactions got more kids killed, while they were begging for help the cops stood outside the door and did nothing. Actually, they were doing something outside the school, they were tasing and handcuffing the parents who wanted to go in and kill the shooter and save their kids. Notice how the only people that died there were the children and teachers. All the police who had guns there were too scared to go in and do their job, “because they might get shot”.
But 99.99% of you will continue to let this go on and will do nothing to change it and will have Memorial Day parties this weekend to celebrate everything so wonderful going on and watch Netflix and basketball or whatever else you are doing. I can easily picture this country electing a dictator next time too and it seems that many people in this country think that is a good idea. Good luck to all of us.
