Remnants of Ian will continue to affect our area into Wednesday, bringing heavy, flooding rain to parts of our area…
The remnants of Ian will continue to plague our area into Wednesday as they have formed into a Nor’easter off the NJ Coast and are nearly stationary and in fact will move northwestward a bit today into tomorrow. The onshore wind flow will bring moisture in off the ocean, causing rain to fall into Wednesday. Heavy rain will fall in Southeastern PA, Southern and Central NJ, NYC, and on Long Island, causing flooding in large parts of those areas. Rainfall amounts could reach 5 inches in parts of Southern and Central NJ.
