The remnants of Ian may plague our area into Wednesday…

As forecast, the remnants of Ian broke into two pieces, with the first piece moving through our area Friday and the second piece moving through our area today, possibly into Wednesday. As the remnants move very slowly through our area today and tomorrow, reaching the coast Tuesday, they may very well strengthen into a Nor’easter, bringing our area a chance of rain, possibly even heavy on Tuesday into early Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50’s today through Tuesday, rising to the mid to upper 60’s Wednesday.

Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 70’s.

Friday, clouds will increase with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm at night as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will range from the low to mdi 60’s in Northeastern PA to the low to mid 70’s in Central NJ.

Saturday through the following Saturday are currently looking nice, but will start out quite cool Saturday with highs in the low to mid 50’s, gradually rising to the mid 60’s to low 70’s by next Wednesday, then dropping back to the mid 50’s to low 60’s by next Friday.
