Wednesday, November 16, 2022 - Daily Weather Discussion

 

Three inches of snow in Mt. Pocono last night and one inch in far Northwestern NJ, but clearing out shortly with a chance of a flurry tomorrow morning…


There was a mixture of rain and snow in East Central and Northeastern PA, Northwestern NJ, and in Orange County, NY last night that left as much as 3 inches of snow in Mt. Pocono in Monroe County, PA, and an inch in parts of far Northwestern NJ. Click here for the snow totals from the National Weather Service.


The precipitation will end this morning followed by clearing, with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Tomorrow will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry in the morning as some Lake Effect moisture may reach our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.


Friday through next Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Friday, the 30’s to low 40’s Saturday, the 30’s Sunday, the mid 30’s to low 40’s Monday, the low to mid 40’s Tuesday, and the mid to upper 40’s next Wednesday.


Thanksgiving, clouds will increase with rain developing at night as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Next Friday, November 25th, rain will be likely as the disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Next Saturday, November 26th, there will be a chance of rain as the disturbance slowly departs our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.


Next Sunday, November 27th, through next Tuesday, November 29th, are currently looking nice with highs in the 40’s.
