...CLIMATE SITE AT CENTRAL PARK RECORDED A TRACE OF SNOW TODAY...
The National Weather Service has confirmed that only a trace of
snow has been recorded at the Central Park climate site today.
The changeover to rain has taken place and no measurable snow is
expected. January 29th 1973 was the latest first measurable
snowfall of the winter season at Central Park with 1.8 inches,
since records began in 1869. If no measurable snowfall is recorded
through January 29th, this season will replace the current
record.
