COLD today and tomorrow with a chance of a snow shower or flurry today, and then warming with rain Thursday and next Friday, and rain or snow next Sunday…
It will be cold today and tomorrow as the Polar Vortex will pass through Northern New England. There will also be a chance of a snow shower or flurry today as a bit of Lake Effect moisture could reach our area. Highs will be in the mid teens to mid 20’s today. The lows tomorrow morning will reach as low as the low to mid single digits below zero in Northeastern PA, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT. The highs Saturday will be in the low to mid 20’s.
Temperatures will then quickly warm Sunday to the mid to upper 40’s, the 40’s Monday, the mid 40’s to low 50’s Tuesday, and the upper 40’s to mid 40’s Wednesday and Thursday, but with rain developing Thursday morning as a disturbance approaches our area.
Next Friday there will be a chance of rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.
Next Saturday there will be a chance of rain or snow ending in the morning as the disturbance departs our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Sunday there will be a chance of rain or snow as a disturbance may develop along the Middle Atlantic Coast. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Next Monday through Thursday are then looking variably cloudy with just a chance of a shower next Tuesday afternoon or evening and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Monday, mid 40’s to low 50’s next Tuesday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday and Thursday.
