Winter has returned to our area finally with a chance of a bit of snow in parts of our area this afternoon and evening as disturbances approaches from the west.
Total possible snowfall accumulation this afternoon and evening:
A trace to a coating possible: East Central PA, Northeastern NJ, Southeastern NY State, and Fairfield County, CT
A coating to an inch possible: Northwestern NJ
A coating to 2 inches possible: Northeastern PA

The next chance of a bit of snow will be Saturday as a weak disturbance passes through our area bringing a chance for a snow shower or some flurries that could bring parts of our area a coating of snow.
Then next week there will be two chances for rain or snow Monday afternoon or evening into Tuesday morning and again next Friday into Saturday morning as two disturbances pass through our area.
