Warm today and especially Thursday, but with a chance of some severe storms Thursday afternoon and evening, then a really nice weekend…
It will be warm today with highs in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s, except the upper 50’s to mid 60’s on Long Island.
Tomorrow there will be a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower. There will be a significant difference in temperatures as you move from west to east through our area, with highs ranging from the upper 60’s to low 70’s in East Central PA, dropping as you head east, to only the upper 40’s to low 50’s in Fairfield County, CT, and on Long Island.
Thursday will be amazingly warm, but with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as a cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in he 70’s to low 80’s, except on Long Island, where highs will be in the 60’s.
Friday through the following weekend are currently looking nice with highs cooling to the 50’s to low 60’s Friday and the upper 40’s to mid 50’s Saturday, then gradually rising to the mid to upper 50’s Sunday, the upper 50’s to mid 60’s Monday, the 60’s next Tuesday, the mid 60’s to low 70’s next Wednesday, and mainly the mid 60’s to mid 70’s next Thursday through Monday.
