Severe showers and thunderstorms possible tomorrow afternoon and evening…

Severe showers and thunderstorms will be possible tomorrow afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches our area from the west. Some of the storms could be severe, with very heavy rainfall of 1-3 inches or more in areas with the heavy storms, which would cause flash flooding in those locations. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

The chances for showers and thunderstorms will continue Monday, and possibly even into Tuesday as the cold front only very slowly passes through our area. The thunderstorms should however not be as bad Monday and especially Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to low 80’s Monday and the low to mid 80’s Tuesday.

Wednesday will then quite possibly be the only rain-free day over the next two weeks with highs in the 80’s to low 90’s.

Thursday through the rest of the two-week period and possibly through the end of time, there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorm with highs in the 80’s to low 90’s Thursday, the low to mid 80’s Friday and next Saturday, July 15th, and the 80’s next Sunday, July 16th through next Friday, July 21st.
