There will be a chance for severe thunderstorms throughout our area today and an enhanced chance for severe thunderstorms in western parts of our area as a cold front passes through. Highs will be in the upper 70’s and 80’s.

Tomorrow will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower early in the day, except a chance for showers all day in Southeastern NY State and Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance passes to our north. Highs will be in the 70’s to low 80’s.
Wednesday will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Thursday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm as another cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Friday will be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Saturday through next Monday, August 14th will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day as a cold front very slowly approaches from the west and then finally passes through our area. Highs will be in the 80’s Saturday and next Monday, and in the mid 80’s to low 90’s Sunday.
Next Tuesday, August 15th and next Wednesday, August 16th, will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Tuesday and the 80’s next Wednesday.
Next Thursday, August 17th through next Sunday, August 19th will be variably cloudy with at least a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm each day.
