Severe thunderstorms possible later today…
There will be a chance for some severe thunderstorms later today as a disturbance passes well to our north, through Southern Canada, bringing warm, moist, unstable air to our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Tomorrow will be variably cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, especially in Northeastern PA and Southeastern NY State, as the disturbance continues to pass north of our area. Highs will be in the 80’s.
Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon and evening from west to east as disturbance and cold front approach from the west. Some of the thunderstorms could be severe. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Tuesday there will be a chance of a shower or thunderstorms during the day, clearing in the evening as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Wednesday and Thursday will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Thursday.
Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm as a disturbance and cold front pass through our area. Some of the storms could be severe. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Saturday, August 19th through next Wednesday August 23rd will then be nice with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Saturday, the 80’s next Sunday and Monday, and the low to mid 80’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Next Thursday, August 24th and next Friday, August 25th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday and the mid 70’s to low 80’s next Friday.
