Thursday, August 10, 2023 - Look at the Next 2 Weeks

Flood threat for today has dissipated…

The concern for flooding today has dissipated as the models have backed off on the intense rainfall projected from yesterday. For once, this is some good news, as long as it holds.

The showers and possibly a thunderstorm will develop today with the rain possibly heavy at times in some places this afternoon and early evening as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the low to mid 70’s.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the 80’s.

Sunday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Monday, clouds will increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorm developing in the afternoon or evening as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Tuesday the showers or thunderstorms will end early in the day, followed by clearing as the disturbance passes to our east. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

Wednesday through next Tuesday, August 22nd will then be nice with highs gradually rising from the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Wednesday, to the upper 70’s to mid 80’s next Thursday and Friday, and the 80’s next Saturday through Tuesday.

Next Wednesday, August 23rd will then be variably cloudy with a chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
