Flash flooding possible tomorrow…
Today will be beautiful with highs in the upper 70’s to mid
80’s.
I am a bit concerned about the potential for flash flooding
in parts of our area tomorrow as a strong disturbance will pass through our
area. There will be the potential for up to 4 inches of rainfall in some locations.
If this were to occur there would be flash flooding in parts of our area. The
rain should develop in the morning, ending in the evening. Highs will be in the
70’s.
Below is the latest precipitation map for tomorrow from the short-range American model. Hopefully it is wrong. Click on the image to enlarge.
This weekend we will have beautiful days Friday and Sunday, but a chance of a shower or thunderstorm Saturday, especially in the afternoon or evening. Highs will be in the mid 70’s to mid 80’s Friday, the 80’s Saturday, and the upper 70’s to mid 80’s Sunday.
Monday clouds will increase with a chance of showers or thunderstorms
developing in the afternoon or evening, ending early Tuesday. Highs will be in
the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.
Next Wednesday, August 16th, through next
Saturday, August 19th, will then be nice with highs in the mid 70’s
to mid 80’s next Wednesday and the 80’s next Thursday through Saturday.
Next Sunday, August 20th and next Tuesday, August
22nd, there will be a chance of an afternoon or evening shower or thunderstorm,
sandwiched by a nice day next Monday, August 21st. Highs will
generally be in the 80’s.
