Some rain or snow showers possible tomorrow and some snow showers possible New Year’s Eve, then watching our first chance at some real snow Thursday…
A couple of weak disturbances will pass through our area tomorrow night and again New Year’s Eve bringing a chance for some rain or snow showers tomorrow and a snow shower or flurry New Year’s Eve.
We then have to keep a close eye on a disturbance that will be passing through the Northern Gulf of Mexico the middle of next week. This disturbance will move northeastward off the East Coast. It is still uncertain as to how close this disturbance will come to our area. The proximity to our area will be largely determined by whether or how much interaction it has with another weak disturbance that will be approaching from the west. We will just have to wait and see. If there is any snow with this system, it would likely occur during the day on Thursday.
We will then have another chance for snow developing on Saturday evening and going into Sunday as another disturbance approaches our area.
Temperatures will then warm heading into the following week with a chance for rain the middle of the week after next.
