A rainy Sunday ahead with flooding likely at night…
It will be nice today and tomorrow with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s today and the mid 40’s to mid 50’s tomorrow.
Sunday there will be rain, heavy at times in the evening with flooding possible in parts of our area at night, especially in northeastern PA and Fairfield County, CT, as a disturbance and strong cold front approach from the west. It will also be windy Sunday night with gusts up to 50 mph possible near the coast and on Long Island. Highs will be in the mid 50’s to low 60’s.
Monday the rain will end early in the morning, followed by clearing, as the cold front passes through our area. Highs will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s.
Tuesday through next Sunday will then be nice with highs rising from the mid 30’s to mid 40’s Tuesday through Thursday to the mid to upper 40’s next Friday, then dropping back to the 40’s next Saturday and the mid 30’s to mid 40’s next Sunday.
Next Monday through next Thursday there will be a chance for some showers, especially next Thursday, December 21st. Highs will gradually rise from the mid 30’s to low 40’s next Monday, to the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Tuesday, and the mid 40’s to low 50’s next Wednesday and Thursday.
