Monday, January 15, 2024 - Weather Discussion

Well, here we go. Significant snow likely in our tomorrow and possibly again Friday…

A disturbance is approaching our area from the west and will cause a low pressure area to develop off the NJ Coast tomorrow. This will cause snow to develop this evening from south to north, ending tomorrow late afternoon and evening from southwest to northeast. Total snowfall accumulations should be 2-6 inches with slightly lower accumulations possible in Southeastern NJ. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20’s today and the mid 20’s to mid 30’s tomorrow.

Friday a disturbance will approach our area from the west, likely causing a low pressure area to develop once again off the NJ Coast, bringing another chance for snow.  Highs will be in the upper 20’s to mid 30’s.

Saturday will be variably cloudy with a chance of a snow shower or flurry. Highs will be in the mid teens to mid 20’s.

Next Monday, January 22nd, through next Wednesday, January 24th, will be nice with temperatures gradually warming from the mid 30’s next Monday, to the low to mid 40’s next Tuesday, and the mid to upper 40’s next Wednesday.

Next Thursday, January 25th, clouds will increase with highs in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.

Next Friday, January 26th, and next Saturday, January 27th, there will be a chance for rain as a disturbance passes through our area. Highs will be in the 40’s next Friday and the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Saturday.
