Looking good through the workweek with just a chance of a snow shower or flurry Thursday, but a big snowstorm is POSSIBLE this weekend…
It will be pretty nice through the workweek with just a chance of a snow shower or flurry Thursday. Highs will be in the 30’s to mid 40’s through Thursday, dropping to the low to mid 30’s Friday.
Saturday, two disturbances will be merging along the Gulf Coast and then moving northeastward exiting the Middle Atlantic Coast Sunday morning. This will likely bring our area some snow this weekend, except possibly some rain in Southern and Coastal NJ. There is the potential for a significant snowfall in much of our area, including all of Eastern PA, Central and Northern NJ (excluding possibly sections near the coast), Southeastern NY State, NYC, Long Island, and in Fairfield County, CT. Highs will be in the 30’s Saturday.
The snow and possibly some rain in Southern NJ and along the NJ Coast will end early Sunday and then things will clear out, leading to a nice day next Monday, January 9th. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s Sunday and in the mid 30’s to low 40’s Monday.
