Showers or sprinkles into Friday, then rain changing to snow on Sunday, with significant snow possible in parts of our area…
There will be showers and sprinkles into Friday, ending late Friday. Temperatures will warm from the upper 30’s to mid 40’s today, to the low to mid 50’s tomorrow and will range from the mid 40’s in Northeastern Fairfield County, CT, to the upper 50’s to mid 60’s in Southeastern PA and Southern NJ.
Saturday, clouds will increase late in the day with highs int eh 40’s to low 50’s.
Sunday, there will be rain or snow in Northeastern PA and rain elsewhere, possibly changing to snow during the day from northwest to southeast across our area as a disturbance passes to our south and east, likely developing into a Nor’easter off the NJ Coast. There could be a significant accumulation of snow in parts of our area, especially in northwestern sections.
Monday the snow will end early in the morning on Eastern Long Island, then things will clear out with highs in the 30’s.
Tuesday through next Monday, February 5th are currently looking nice with highs gradually rising from the low to mid 30’s Tuesday, to the upper 30’s to mid 40’s next Wednesday, the low to mid 40’s next Thursday and Friday, and the 40’s next Saturday through Monday.
Next Tuesday, February 6th, clouds will increase with a chance of rain or snow at night as a disturbance passes to our south and east. Highs will be in the low to mid 40’s.
