Friday, February 10, 2024 - Weather Discussion

Watching Monday night into Tuesday…

It will be quite warm today and tomorrow with highs in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s today and the mid to upper 50’s tomorrow.

Sunday will be variably cloudy and cooler with highs in the 40’s.

Monday, a disturbance will approach from the Southeastern United States, exciting the Middle Atlantic Coast Tuesday. This will cause rain to develop Monday night, likely gradually changing to snow from northwest to southeast at night, then ending Tuesday morning. There is a chance for a significant accumulation of snow with this disturbance, depending upon exactly how the system develops and the exact track that it takes. This appears to be a rain and snow type storm, with little chance of any ice the way it currently looks. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s, but cold air will quickly move into our area as the storms develops and passes through our area. The snow will then end in the morning, followed by gradual clearing and highs int eh 30’s.
