Thursday, February 8, 2024 - Weather Discussion

 

Warming to near 60 in parts of our area by Saturday and then watching a potential Nor’easter for Monday into Tuesday morning…


An approaching storm will bring a chance for rain or snow Monday into Tuesday morning, depending on the exact track of the storm and how it develops. There are still many details that need to be worked out before an accurate forecast can be made, so be sure to check back for updates. 


Temperatures will gradually to near 60 in parts of our area by Saturday with a chance for some showers in the afternoon and evening Saturday as a cold front approaches and then passes through our area.


Sunday will be variably cloudy and a bit cooler behind the cold front with highs in the mid 40’s to mid 50’s.


Monday there will be a chance of rain or snow developing in the morning, possibly changing to snow from northwest to southeast in the late afternoon and evening as a disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 30’s to mid 40’s.


Tuesday there will be a chance of snow ending in the morning. Highs will be in the 30’s.


Wednesday will be variably cloudy with highs in the 30’s.


Next Thursday, February 15th will be variably cloudy with a chance of a late day or evening snow shower or flurry as a weak disturbance approaches our area. Highs will be in the upper 20’s and 30’s.


Next Friday, February 16th, will be variably cloudy with a chance of a flurry. Highs will be in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s.


Next Saturday, February 17th, through next Wednesday, February 21st are currently looking nice with highs gradually slightly rising from the mid 20’s to mid 30’s next Saturday to the low to mid 30’s next Tuesday and Wednesday.
