More snow possible Saturday morning and then watching late next week…

The storm yesterday that I named the Mission Impossible storm, was one of the most difficult I have ever had to try and predict. While the models had the general idea quite well, the details were all over the place. The end result was however nearly exactly as expected. Below are some snowfall totals from around our area.

Today will be nice and then there could be a snow shower or flurry tomorrow night as a very weak disturbance passes north of our area.

Eastly Saturday morning a disturbance will pass south of our area, likely bringing some snow to our area early Saturday. Right now it appears that there could be a coating to an inch or two of snow early Saturday depending on the exact track of the disturbance as it exits the Middle Atlantic Coast Saturday morning.

Things are then looking pretty good Sunday through Wednesday of next week, followed by a bigger potential threat next Thursday and Friday as a stronger disturbance may approach from the west, eventually slowly exiting the Middle Atlantic Coast late next Friday. This will bring us a chance for rain or snow next Thursday and Friday. Early on, it is also appearing this disturbance will be much slower moving than the storm that brought us the snow yesterday and the one that will likely bring us some snow early Saturday.
